Project Coordinator - Youth Empowerment

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and organized Project Coordinator to manage their Youth Empowerment programs based in Bloemfontein . This role involves coordinating initiatives designed to support young people through education, skills development, and mentorship. You will play a key part in program planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring that our client's efforts effectively empower the youth within the Charity & Voluntary sector. This hybrid role combines in-office collaboration for strategic planning with remote flexibility for day-to-day project management and outreach activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the planning and implementation of youth empowerment projects and activities.
• Liaise with schools, community centers, and other stakeholders to facilitate program delivery.
• Assist in the development of program materials, workshops, and training modules.
• Monitor project progress, collect data, and contribute to regular reporting on outcomes.
• Manage project logistics, including scheduling, participant registration, and resource allocation.
• Support the engagement and communication with youth participants and their guardians.

Requirements

• Experience in project coordination or program support, preferably with youth-focused initiatives.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with young people.
• Familiarity with program planning and monitoring tools.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid setting.
