Art Team Lead

We're looking for an experienced Art Team Lead who is passionate about creative excellence, leadership, and delivering exceptional visual experiences.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will provide technical and creative direction to a talented art team while ensuring the successful delivery of projects across Games Global's gaming portfolio. You will play a key role in driving innovation, maintaining design quality, developing team capability, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards.

What You'll Do

• Provide technical and creative leadership on new and existing projects.
• Set direction and best practices for design, art production, and development workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, Art Directors, and development teams to deliver engaging game experiences.
• Facilitate the creation of high-quality game interfaces and visual assets.
• Ensure all designs meet functional, usability, brand, and quality requirements.
• Maintain documentation, templates, and standards across supported projects and pipelines.
• Manage resource allocation and project scheduling to ensure deadlines are achieved.
• Mentor, coach, and develop team members through ongoing support and performance management.
• Drive continuous improvement by researching industry trends and implementing workflow enhancements.
• Foster collaboration, communication, and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and team performance.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience leading or mentoring creative teams within a digital, gaming, or software environment.
• Strong experience in UI, interface design, digital art, and visual design principles.
• Experience managing project delivery, team workloads, and competing priorities.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to provide technical design leadership and drive creative excellence.
• Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• A strategic mindset with the ability to balance creative vision and business objectives.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organisational skills.
