About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and reliable Remote Delivery Driver to join their dynamic logistics team. This position is fully remote, offering the flexibility to manage your delivery routes from your home base. You will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to customers across designated areas, acting as the primary point of contact for clients during the delivery process. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to navigate efficiently using modern GPS technology, contributing to the company's reputation for prompt and dependable service.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently plan and execute daily delivery routes for maximum productivity and timely arrivals.
• Safely load, transport, and unload packages and goods, ensuring they remain in pristine condition.
• Utilize company-provided GPS and navigation tools to optimize routes and avoid delays.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any potential issues.
• Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies for vehicle operation and delivery procedures.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any maintenance needs promptly.

Requirements

• Valid South African driver's license (Code 10 or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar logistics role.
• Proficiency in using GPS devices and navigation applications.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction.
• Must have access to a reliable personal vehicle suitable for deliveries, or be willing to use company-provided vehicles if available.
