About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Industrial Equipment Installer to join their operations based in Polokwane. This role is vital for the successful deployment of sophisticated industrial machinery and systems for their clients across Limpopo province. You will be responsible for the accurate and safe installation, initial setup, and verification of performance for a range of equipment. This position is ideal for a hands-on individual with a strong mechanical aptitude, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both on-site and potentially coordinating aspects remotely, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and commission industrial equipment according to detailed technical drawings and specifications.


• Conduct thorough testing and calibration of newly installed systems to ensure optimal functionality.


• Diagnose and resolve any installation-related challenges or defects encountered on-site.


• Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on installed equipment as part of the commissioning process.


• Ensure all installations comply with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.


• Maintain detailed logs of installation progress, issues, and resolutions for project management.

Requirements

• Proven experience in an equipment installation or technical maintenance role, preferably within an industrial setting.


• Strong mechanical and technical skills, with the ability to interpret complex schematics and blueprints.


• Proficiency in using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to site challenges.


• Must hold a valid driver's license and be willing to travel within the Polokwane region and province.


• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with site personnel.
