Key Responsibilities
- Manage and motivate a branch team to achieve sales targets for all retail banking products and services.
- Ensure the branch operates efficiently and complies with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve complex customer issues promptly.
- Oversee daily branch operations, including cash management, security procedures, and risk mitigation.
- Recruit, train, develop, and performance-manage branch staff.
- Develop and implement local marketing initiatives to drive customer acquisition and retention.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail banking management, with a proven track record of success in sales and operations.
- Strong understanding of retail banking products, services, and the regulatory environment in South Africa.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and coaching skills.
- Proven ability to drive sales performance and achieve branch objectives.
