About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Remote Logistics Coordinator to manage transportation and delivery operations from a distance. This position is integral to optimizing our supply chain and ensuring seamless movement of goods across various locations. You will be responsible for coordinating shipments, tracking deliveries, liaising with drivers and carriers, and resolving any logistical challenges that arise. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule transportation for inbound and outbound shipments remotely.
• Utilize logistics software and tracking systems to monitor the status of deliveries in real-time.
• Communicate effectively with a network of drivers, carriers, and clients to provide updates and resolve issues.
• Manage documentation related to shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness for compliance.
• Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost reduction.
• Proactively address and resolve any logistical disruptions or challenges that may arise.

Requirements

• Proven experience in logistics coordination , supply chain management, or a related field.
• Proficiency in using logistics and transportation management software (TMS).
• Excellent remote communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting .
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
