Guest Relations Officer - Tembisa

About the Role

Our client is seeking an engaging and customer-focused Guest Relations Officer to join their vibrant hospitality team in Tembisa. You will be the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable, memorable, and seamless from arrival to departure. This role is pivotal in upholding the reputation of the establishment by providing exceptional service, addressing guest needs promptly, and resolving any issues with professionalism and courtesy. You will work closely with various hotel departments to coordinate guest requests and ensure a consistently high standard of service delivery in a dynamic, face-to-face environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.


• Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely and courteous manner, both in person and over the phone.


• Resolve guest complaints and concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating complex issues when necessary.


• Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining recommendations.


• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage departments to ensure guest satisfaction.


• Maintain a high level of service and presentation, embodying the establishment's standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in customer service, preferably within the hospitality industry.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.


• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle stressful situations calmly.


• Proficiency in using hotel management systems and standard office software.


• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
