About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Capacity Building Specialist to join their team, serving the Mahikeng region with a hybrid work model. This role is critical for strengthening the skills, abilities, and resources of individuals and organizations within the communities they serve. You will design and deliver training programs, workshops, and mentorship initiatives to foster sustainable development and enhance operational effectiveness. The ideal candidate is an expert in adult learning principles, possesses excellent facilitation skills, and is passionate about empowering others. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to drive significant positive change and foster growth within the North West province.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver training programs and workshops focused on capacity building.
- Assess the training needs of partner organizations and individuals to tailor interventions.
- Provide ongoing mentorship and technical assistance to enhance performance and sustainability.
- Facilitate participatory learning processes and foster knowledge sharing among stakeholders.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of capacity-building initiatives and report on outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in capacity building , training, or organizational development.
- Proven expertise in adult learning methodologies and workshop facilitation.
- Strong understanding of organizational dynamics and change management principles.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Education, Business Administration, or Social Sciences.
