About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly analytical and experienced Senior Insurance Risk Analyst to join their team, supporting operations from Stellenbosch . This role is integral to identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks across the company's insurance portfolio. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive risk assessment frameworks and methodologies.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• 7+ years of experience in risk management, actuarial science, or financial analysis within the insurance sector.
• Advanced proficiency in statistical modeling, data analysis tools (e.g., R, Python, SQL), and risk modeling software.
• Strong understanding of insurance products, regulations, and capital requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
