Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical control panels and systems for industrial automation applications.
- Develop PLC programming and HMI configurations for various machinery and processes.
- Specify and select electrical components, motors, drives, and sensors.
- Create detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and bill of materials using CAD software.
- Perform electrical system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers and project teams to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design for industrial automation.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Allen-Bradley Studio 5000) and HMI development.
- Strong understanding of industrial networks, VFDs, and servo systems.
- Experience with electrical CAD software (e.g., EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills for a hybrid work setting.
