E-commerce Fulfillment Associate

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and efficient E-commerce Fulfillment Associate to join their remote team, supporting operations for their retail presence in Vereeniging and beyond. In this role, you will be responsible for processing online orders, managing inventory within our e-commerce fulfillment center, and ensuring timely dispatch of products to customers. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and speed. As a fully remote position, you will collaborate closely with the e-commerce and logistics teams to ensure a seamless online shopping experience for customers nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, process, and fulfill online customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Pick and pack products, ensuring correct items and quantities are shipped.
• Manage inventory levels within the e-commerce fulfillment system, reporting any discrepancies.
• Prepare shipments for delivery, coordinating with courier services for timely pickups.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment within the designated packing area.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any order fulfillment or shipping issues that may arise.

Requirements

• Previous experience in order fulfillment, warehousing, or a similar logistics role is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
• Proficiency in using basic computer systems and order management software.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to task completion.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move packages as required by the role.
