Senior Information Security Consultant

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Information Security Consultant to provide expert advice and strategic guidance on cybersecurity matters. This role involves assessing client security postures, identifying risks, and developing tailored security solutions to meet their specific business needs. You will work with a diverse range of clients, helping them to strengthen their defenses against evolving cyber threats. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive security risk assessments and gap analyses for clients.
• Develop and present strategic security recommendations and implementation roadmaps.
• Advise clients on security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Assist clients in the selection and implementation of security technologies and solutions.
• Provide guidance on regulatory compliance and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, POPIA).
• Manage client relationships and ensure successful delivery of security consulting services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in information security, with a strong background in consulting or advisory roles.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and emerging threats.
• Proven experience with security technologies, including network security, endpoint protection, and cloud security.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and client management skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
