Senior Architectural Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Architectural Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of diverse construction projects in Port Elizabeth. This critical role involves managing all aspects of project execution, from planning and design coordination to budget control and stakeholder management. You will be the key liaison between the design team, contractors, clients, and regulatory bodies, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage architectural projects from inception through to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timeline.
• Coordinate and collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Oversee the procurement process, tender evaluations, and contract administration.
• Manage stakeholder communication, including regular progress reports and client meetings in Port Elizabeth.

Requirements

• Professional qualification in Architecture, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in managing complex architectural or construction projects.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, financial management, and contract law.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and standard office suites.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
