Banqueting Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and customer-focused Banqueting Manager to manage and elevate their event operations in Rustenburg . This role involves overseeing all aspects of banqueting and events, from initial client contact and proposal development to seamless execution and post-event follow-up. You will be responsible for ensuring that every event, whether it's a corporate conference, wedding, or private function, exceeds client expectations. Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of banqueting and event operations, ensuring flawless execution.
• Liaise with clients from inquiry to post-event, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Develop detailed event plans, including staffing, menus, audiovisual requirements, and timelines.
• Supervise event staff, ensuring they deliver exceptional service according to established standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of event spaces to ensure they are immaculate and fully equipped.
• Manage inventory of event supplies and coordinate with catering and bar services.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in event management or banqueting coordination.
• Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strong understanding of event planning software and F&B service standards .
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
