About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Telecoms Business Analyst to join their team in Randburg . This role is crucial in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions within the telecommunications sector. You will be responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements, analyzing complex data, and translating them into functional specifications for IT and network development projects. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of the telecommunications industry's processes and challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, validate, and document business and functional requirements for new telecom projects and system enhancements.
- Translate business needs into clear and concise technical specifications, user stories, and process flows.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business units, IT, and network operations to ensure alignment and understanding of requirements.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential issues related to telecom services and operations.
- Facilitate requirements review sessions and gain consensus from all relevant parties.
- Support the testing and implementation phases of projects, ensuring solutions meet business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
- Proven experience in requirements gathering, process modeling (e.g., BPMN), and creating functional specifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
