Sports Partnership Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for a strategic and well-connected Sports Partnership Manager to join their commercial team in Port Elizabeth . This role focuses on identifying, securing, and nurturing key partnerships within the sports ecosystem to drive revenue growth and enhance brand presence. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with sports federations, clubs, athletes, and relevant corporate entities. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven individual with excellent negotiation skills and a deep understanding of the sports business landscape to contribute significantly to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships within the sports industry .
• Develop compelling partnership proposals and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements.
• Manage and maintain strong relationships with existing partners, ensuring satisfaction and exploring avenues for expansion.
• Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop integrated activation plans for partners.
• Analyze partnership performance and provide regular reports on ROI and strategic impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales, preferably within the sports or entertainment sectors.
• Demonstrated success in identifying, negotiating, and closing significant deals.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• A strong network within the South African sports community is highly advantageous.
