Project Manager - Supply Chain

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager specializing in Supply Chain operations, based in Richards Bay . This hybrid role involves optimizing and managing projects within the logistics and supply chain functions of the organization. You will be responsible for enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving the overall performance of our supply chain network through strategic project execution. The successful candidate will work closely with logistics teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to drive impactful changes and ensure seamless operations, balancing on-site oversight with remote coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects focused on improving supply chain efficiency, inventory management, and logistics operations.
• Develop project scopes, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring successful and timely project completion.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and recommend innovative solutions.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to ensure smooth implementation of supply chain initiatives.
• Monitor project performance and provide regular updates on progress, risks, and outcomes.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within a supply chain or logistics environment.
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and logistics operations.
• Proven experience in managing cross-functional projects and driving process improvements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with supply chain management software and project management tools.
