About the Role

Our client is seeking energetic and reliable Sanitation Crew Members to join their team in Paarl . This role is integral to maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of various commercial and public spaces. You will perform a variety of cleaning tasks, ensuring that all areas are kept to exceptional standards. The ideal candidate is physically fit, detail-oriented, and understands the importance of sanitation in public health and safety. This position involves working within a team to achieve common cleanliness goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, ensuring they are hygienic and well-stocked.
• Empty and replace trash liners in all designated receptacles.
• Perform floor cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and spot cleaning.
• Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and protocols, including the correct use of cleaning chemicals and PPE.
• Report any cleaning supply needs or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a cleaning or sanitation role is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Good physical condition, able to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Understanding of basic cleaning procedures and sanitation principles .
• Reliable and punctual attendance is critical.
• Team player with a positive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness.
