Electrical Test Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous Electrical Test Engineer to join their facility in Port Elizabeth . You will be responsible for developing test procedures, setting up test equipment, and analyzing results to identify and resolve any defects. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and procedures for electrical products.


• Set up and operate test equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.


• Perform functional, performance, and environmental testing on electrical components and systems.


• Analyze test data, identify root causes of failures, and report findings to engineering teams.


• Calibrate and maintain test equipment to ensure accuracy and readiness.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.


• Minimum 3 years of experience in an electrical testing or quality assurance role.


• Proficiency with various electrical test equipment and data acquisition systems.


• Knowledge of circuit analysis and troubleshooting techniques.


• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
