About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and analytical Remote Automotive Systems Analyst to join their expanding team. This role is critical in analyzing complex automotive systems, identifying performance trends, and developing strategies for improvement. You will work extensively with data from vehicle diagnostics, testing, and customer feedback to provide actionable insights. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute significantly to our client's automotive product lifecycle from any location, fostering innovation and efficiency across their global operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets related to vehicle performance, reliability, and user behavior to identify key trends and issues.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize system performance metrics for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to translate data-driven insights into concrete product enhancements and strategic recommendations.
• Document system specifications, analyze requirements, and contribute to the overall system architecture and design from a data-centric perspective.
• Conduct root cause analysis for system failures or performance degradation, providing detailed explanations and solutions.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in automotive technology and data analytics methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in systems analysis, data analysis, or a related role, preferably within the automotive industry .
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or MATLAB.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of automotive systems, including powertrain, chassis, electrical, and infotainment domains.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly in a remote environment .
