About the Role
Our client is seeking an ambitious and diligent Junior Corporate Lawyer to join their respected firm in Stellenbosch. You will work closely with senior lawyers, assisting in the drafting and negotiation of agreements, conducting legal research, and managing deal processes. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting and reviewing corporate agreements, including shareholders' agreements and sale of business agreements.
- Conduct legal research on various corporate and commercial law matters.
- Support senior lawyers in managing mergers and acquisitions transactions.
- Assist with corporate compliance and governance matters for clients.
- Prepare legal documentation for corporate restructuring and formations.
- Engage in due diligence processes for transactions.
Requirements
- LLB degree and admission as an attorney.
- 0-3 years of post-qualification experience in corporate or commercial law.
- Strong interest in corporate law and transactional work. Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn.
