About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and proactive Aircraft Dispatcher to join their operations team in Cape Town . In this role, you will be at the heart of flight operations, responsible for flight planning, monitoring weather conditions, and ensuring the safe and efficient routing of aircraft. Your decisions will directly impact flight safety and on-time performance. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and issue flight plans, considering factors such as weather, fuel requirements, and air traffic control.
• Monitor flight progress and make real-time adjustments to flight paths or schedules as needed.
• Analyze meteorological data and forecasts to ensure safe flight operations.
• Communicate effectively with flight crews, air traffic control, and ground operations personnel.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable aviation regulations and company policies.
• Maintain detailed logs and records of all flight operations and communications.

Requirements

• Relevant certification or license as an Aircraft Dispatcher or Flight Operations Officer.
• Proven experience in flight planning and dispatch operations.
• In-depth knowledge of aviation weather, navigation, and air traffic control procedures.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with flight planning software and systems is essential.
