About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Remote Culinary Operations Planner to join their dynamic team, operating entirely from a remote location. This role is central to ensuring the efficient and high-quality execution of all culinary aspects for their catering events. You will be responsible for detailed planning, resource allocation, menu execution coordination, and quality assurance, working closely with chefs, operations teams, and event managers to guarantee seamless culinary delivery for clients across various locations. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence culinary operations without the need for physical presence at event sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed culinary operational plans for all catering events, ensuring alignment with menu requirements and client expectations.
• Coordinate with chefs and kitchen staff on ingredient sourcing, preparation schedules, and execution timelines to ensure optimal workflow.
• Manage and monitor food production processes and quality control measures to maintain the highest standards of taste and presentation.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of ingredients and supplies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in culinary operations management, catering planning, or a similar role, with a strong preference for remote work experience.
• In-depth understanding of culinary techniques , food safety standards, and kitchen management.
• Exceptional planning, organizational, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in using culinary software and project management tools for remote collaboration.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and utilize operational data.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, adept at working with diverse teams remotely.
