Warehouse Operations Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee daily activities within their facility in Nelspruit. This role is key to ensuring the efficient and accurate management of inventory, order fulfillment, and staff supervision. You will be responsible for implementing operational procedures, maintaining safety standards, and driving performance within the warehouse team. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities and a practical understanding of warehouse logistics, contributing to a productive and safe working environment with a hybrid flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide warehouse staff in daily operational tasks, including receiving, storage, and dispatch.
• Ensure accurate inventory management through effective tracking, cycle counting, and reconciliation.
• Implement and enforce safety regulations and protocols to maintain a secure warehouse environment.
• Monitor workflow and productivity, identifying and resolving operational bottlenecks.
• Train new staff members on warehouse procedures, safety guidelines, and equipment usage.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse facility.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or team lead role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and safety procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
