About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and organized E-commerce Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of key online initiatives in Sandton. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of e-commerce projects, including website enhancements, new feature rollouts, and platform migrations.
- Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, deliverables, timelines, resource requirements, and budgets.
- Coordinate and manage cross‑functional teams, including marketing, IT, design, and operations, to ensure project alignment and success.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Communicate project status, updates, and key decisions effectively to all stakeholders, including senior management.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field; PMP or Agile certification is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, with a significant focus on e-commerce or digital transformation projects.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously from initiation to closure.
- Strong understanding of the e‑commerce landscape, including web development, digital marketing, and user experience.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project).
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
