Regional Delivery Driver - FMCG

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Regional Delivery Driver to manage the distribution of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) across the Mahikeng region and surrounding towns. This role is crucial for ensuring that retail partners receive their stock efficiently and reliably. You will be operating a medium to heavy commercial vehicle, responsible for safe loading, transport, and delivery, while maintaining excellent customer relations. The ideal candidate is experienced, possesses strong local geographic knowledge, and is committed to upholding high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport FMCG products from distribution centers to various retail outlets within the Mahikeng region and surrounding areas.
• Ensure goods are loaded accurately and securely, checking for damage before departure.
• Plan daily delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet delivery windows.
• Conduct daily inspections of the delivery vehicle, reporting any maintenance or safety issues.
• Obtain proof of delivery, manage stock discrepancies, and handle cash transactions if required.
• Maintain professional communication with clients and provide excellent customer service at each delivery point.

Requirements

• Valid Code 10 driver's license with a PDP essential.
• Previous experience in delivery driving, specifically with FMCG or retail distribution.
• In-depth knowledge of the road network in and around Mahikeng , including smaller towns.
• A clean driving record and a strong emphasis on road safety.
• Physical capability to handle loading and unloading of goods.
• Good communication and time-management skills.
