Senior Software Developer - Full Stack (C#/.NET)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly proficient Senior Software Developer specializing in the C#/.NET stack to join their established team in Soweto . This role is critical for the development and maintenance of robust enterprise-level applications and services. You will be involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and deployment. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with a strong understanding of software architecture principles and a commitment to delivering high-quality, scalable solutions within an office-based setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications using C# , .NET Core , and related technologies.
• Build and optimize backend services, APIs, and database interactions.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly frontend interfaces using modern frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, or Blazor).
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and participating in code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective software solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development , with a strong focus on the .NET ecosystem.
• Proficiency in C# and experience with .NET Core/.NET 5+ .
• Experience with frontend development using JavaScript frameworks and related technologies.
• Solid understanding of database design (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks (Entity Framework).
