Key Responsibilities

• Analyze operational workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements using lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Develop and optimize production schedules, resource allocation, and inventory management systems to maximize efficiency.
• Lead cross-functional teams in implementing new technologies, equipment, and operational strategies.
• Ensure adherence to strict quality control standards and safety protocols throughout all operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex operational issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports on operational performance to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in operations engineering or a similar management role.
• Strong expertise in lean manufacturing , Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proven experience in project management, leading complex operational initiatives from conception to completion.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective leadership and communication abilities, with experience managing diverse teams in Port Elizabeth .
