Automotive Detailer

Our client is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Automotive Detailer to join their busy dealership team in Upington . In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning and reconditioning vehicles to showroom quality, ensuring they present perfectly for customers. You will use a variety of techniques and products to enhance the appearance of both new and pre-owned vehicles. This position is perfect for someone who takes pride in their work, has a keen eye for detail, and enjoys making vehicles look their absolute best. Your efforts will directly contribute to customer satisfaction and the dealership's reputation for quality presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough interior and exterior cleaning of vehicles, including washing, waxing, and polishing.


• Clean and condition leather, fabric, and vinyl surfaces, and shampoo carpets and upholstery.


• Remove dirt, grime, and debris from all parts of the vehicle, including engine bays and wheel wells.


• Apply protective coatings and sealants to enhance durability and appearance.


• Inspect vehicles for any damage or defects and report findings to management.


• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and manage detailing supplies effectively.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Automotive Detailer or in a related cleaning/detailing role.


• Knowledge of automotive cleaning chemicals, tools, and techniques.


• Ability to work efficiently and maintain a high standard of quality.


• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.


• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
