Supply Chain Manager - FMCG

Our client, a major player in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, is seeking a highly organized and efficient Supply Chain Manager to oversee operations in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal . This vital role will ensure the smooth and cost-effective flow of goods from sourcing to delivery, managing inventory, logistics, and supplier relationships. You will be instrumental in optimizing supply chain processes to meet market demand, maintain product quality, and enhance customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.


• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.


• Oversee relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and other third-party vendors.


• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards in logistics and distribution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.


• Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain management, with a strong focus on the FMCG sector .


• Proven experience in managing logistics, warehousing, and procurement operations.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive efficiency improvements.
