About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced PR Account Manager to join their dynamic agency in Stellenbosch, Western Cape . This role is critical for managing client relationships, developing strategic PR plans, and ensuring successful execution of campaigns that meet client objectives. You will serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, fostering strong partnerships and delivering measurable results. Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day PR activities for a portfolio of clients, acting as the main point of contact.
- Develop and implement strategic PR plans, including media outreach, press release development, and campaign management.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with media contacts and industry influencers relevant to client sectors.
- Oversee the creation of compelling press materials and communication assets.
- Monitor media coverage, track campaign results, and prepare insightful performance reports for clients.
- Identify new opportunities for client growth and service expansion.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in public relations, preferably within an agency setting.
- Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation abilities.
- Demonstrated success in media relations and securing positive press coverage.
- Strong understanding of the Western Cape media landscape and current PR trends.
