Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive training programs tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
• Coach and mentor young athletes, focusing on skill development, tactical understanding, and sportsmanship.
• Recruit and develop assistant coaching staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Ensure a safe and supportive training environment, adhering to all relevant safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with parents, athletes, and academy management regarding progress and development.
• Organize and manage team participation in local and regional competitions.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a coach in a relevant sport, with a focus on youth development.
• Relevant coaching certifications and qualifications are essential.
• Demonstrated ability to develop athletic talent and foster a positive team culture.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• A strong understanding of sports psychology and athlete well-being.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Pretoria for this on-site role.
