About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute innovative and seasonal menus for a range of catering events, catering to diverse dietary needs and preferences.
• Lead, train, and mentor the kitchen brigade, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including inventory control, food costing, waste reduction, and procurement of high-quality ingredients.
• Ensure strict adherence to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards, maintaining a pristine and compliant kitchen environment.
• Collaborate with the catering management team to ensure seamless coordination between the kitchen and event service teams.
• Maintain consistency in food quality and presentation across all culinary offerings.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef, with a strong background in high-volume catering or fine dining.
• Demonstrated culinary expertise, creativity, and a passion for exceptional food quality and presentation.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop kitchen staff.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food safety regulations, kitchen management, and cost control principles.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced setting.
