User Interface (UI) Designer - Gaming

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and creative User Interface (UI) Designer to craft intuitive and visually appealing interfaces for their gaming products. This role is critical in shaping the player experience, ensuring that navigation is seamless and information is presented clearly and engagingly. You will collaborate closely with UX designers, game designers, and developers to translate player needs and game mechanics into functional and aesthetically pleasing UI elements. This is a remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to cutting-edge gaming projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and iterate on user interface layouts, icons, buttons, and other graphical elements for games.


• Create style guides and UI kits to ensure consistency across all game interfaces.


• Collaborate with UX designers to conduct user research and usability testing, incorporating feedback into designs.


• Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of UI designs.


• Optimize UI elements for various screen resolutions and platforms.


• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in UI design, particularly within the gaming industry.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in UI Design , with a strong portfolio showcasing game UI or interactive application design.


• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma , Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.


• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and interaction design.


• Familiarity with game development pipelines and constraints is a plus.


• Excellent visual design skills, including layout, typography, and color theory.


• Ability to communicate design concepts clearly and effectively in a remote team setting.
