About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Specialist to focus on promoting live events within the vibrant Arts & Entertainment sector in Stellenbosch . This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for events and a proven ability to drive audience engagement and ticket sales. You will develop and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns, leveraging both digital and traditional channels to maximize event reach and impact. This hybrid role combines the energy of in-person event promotion with the flexibility of remote work, offering a balanced approach to marketing within the beautiful Western Cape region.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies for a portfolio of live events, including concerts, festivals, and theatrical productions.
• Manage digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, search engines, and relevant online platforms.
• Create engaging marketing collateral, including press releases, social media content, website copy, and advertising materials.
• Collaborate with event promoters, artists, and venue partners to maximize promotional efforts.
• Analyze campaign performance, track key metrics (e.g., ticket sales, engagement rates), and provide regular reports.
• Manage marketing budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources for maximum ROI.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Marketing Specialist or similar role, with a focus on event marketing or the Arts & Entertainment industry.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and email marketing.
• Excellent copywriting and content creation skills.
• Experience with marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and CRM software.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
