About the Role

Our client is seeking a sharp and analytical Cryptocurrency Trader & Analyst to join their growing investment team in Richards Bay . This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of digital asset markets, a keen eye for market trends, and the ability to execute trades efficiently. You will be responsible for market analysis, developing trading strategies, managing portfolio risk, and identifying new investment opportunities within the volatile cryptocurrency space. This hybrid position allows for significant collaboration with the team while offering flexibility for personal productivity in KwaZulu-Natal .

Key Responsibilities

• Execute high-frequency and strategic trades across various cryptocurrency markets.
• Conduct in-depth market research, trend analysis, and fundamental/technical analysis of digital assets.
• Develop and refine trading strategies, including risk management protocols and position sizing.
• Monitor portfolio performance, analyze P&L, and provide regular reports to management.
• Identify and evaluate new trading opportunities, emerging tokens, and market inefficiencies.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and macroeconomic factors affecting the crypto market.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cryptocurrency trading or financial market analysis.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology and the broader digital asset ecosystem.
• Proficiency in using trading platforms, charting tools, and analytical software.
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to interpret complex data.
• Demonstrated ability to manage risk effectively in volatile markets.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
