About the Role
Our client in Mahikeng is looking for a nurturing and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join their reputable childcare facility. This role focuses on providing high-quality care and education for young children, aged 2-4 years. You will be responsible for creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment, implementing engaging activities that promote holistic development, and working collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support each child's journey. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that support children's development across all learning areas.
- Ensure a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for all children.
- Observe, document, and assess children's progress, contributing to individual learning profiles.
- Provide direct care and support to children, including assistance with routines such as feeding, napping, and hygiene.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and well-being.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Development (e.g., NQF Level 4 or equivalent).
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare setting.
- Good understanding of child development principles and practice.
