Learning Support Facilitator

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated Learning Support Facilitator to assist students with diverse learning needs within a supportive academic environment in Soweto . This role involves providing individualized or small-group support to students who require extra help to achieve their academic potential. You will work under the guidance of teachers and learning specialists to implement tailored strategies, monitor student progress, and foster a positive learning experience that builds confidence and academic skills. This position is key to ensuring an inclusive and equitable educational experience for all students.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or small-group academic support to students requiring additional assistance.
• Implement differentiated learning strategies and resources as directed by teachers.
• Monitor student progress, collect data, and provide feedback on learning and development.
• Assist students with organizational skills, study habits, and time management.
• Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere to build student confidence and engagement.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Education, Psychology, or a related field.
• Experience in working with students, preferably in an educational or support role.
• Understanding of common learning challenges and support strategies.
• Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a support team.
