About the Role

Our client seeks a compassionate and skilled Special Needs Education Teacher to support students with diverse learning requirements at their facility in Centurion . This role involves creating individualized educational plans (IEPs) and delivering tailored instruction to help students achieve their full potential. You will work collaboratively with specialists, therapists, and families to ensure a holistic approach to each child's development. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide specialized instruction and support tailored to the unique learning styles and abilities of each student.
• Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate effectively with parents, guardians, and other professionals to create a cohesive support network.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and progress towards IEP goals.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher status with a specialization in Special Needs Education .
• Experience working with children across a range of disabilities, such as learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or ADHD.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum adaptation and assistive technologies.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and patience when working with students and their families.
• Certification in relevant therapeutic approaches is an advantage.
