About the Role

Our client is looking for a proficient and reliable Automotive Technician to join their well-established service center in Mahikeng, North West . This role involves performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks on various makes and models of vehicles. You will use your diagnostic skills to identify issues, perform necessary repairs, and ensure vehicles are safe and running optimally. We seek a team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high-quality automotive service to our valued customers, contributing to the overall success of the workshop.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle issues related to the engine, transmission, brakes, and suspension.
• Perform diagnostic tests using computerized equipment to identify mechanical and electrical problems.
• Carry out necessary repairs and replacements of worn or faulty parts.
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard, adhering to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and properly document all service performed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Automotive Technician .
• Good knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proficiency with common automotive diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and repair procedures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a mechanical aptitude.
• A valid driver's license is required.
