Construction Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned and results-oriented Construction Project Manager to lead challenging projects in the Nelspruit area. You will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, execution, and financial control of construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, capable of managing diverse teams and stakeholders to achieve project objectives. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality construction outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of construction projects from initiation to closeout.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budgets, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Manage project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
• Manage client relationships and stakeholder communications effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction project management.
• Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects of varying complexity and scale.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore).
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
