Senior Cloud Network Architect

About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary Senior Cloud Network Architect to join their distributed team and lead the design and implementation of their next-generation cloud networking infrastructure. This fully remote role requires deep expertise in cloud platforms, software-defined networking (SDN), and network security to build highly scalable, resilient, and secure cloud environments. Key Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and implement scalable, highly available, and secure network solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Develop and maintain cloud networking best practices, standards, and reference architectures.
• Lead the implementation of advanced networking concepts, including VPCs, subnets, routing, load balancing, and VPNs in cloud environments.
• Define and enforce network security policies, including firewall rules, security groups, and access control lists.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to troubleshoot complex network issues and optimize performance.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud networking technologies and services to enhance capabilities and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience in network architecture and engineering, with at least 5 years focused on cloud networking.
• Extensive experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP networking services.
• Deep understanding of SDN, NFV, and cloud security principles.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Terraform, Ansible) for network management.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a remote, global team environment.
