Remote Supply Chain Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Remote Supply Chain Analyst to join their national operations. This fully remote position will focus on optimizing our supply chain performance, identifying cost efficiencies, and improving delivery networks. You will leverage data analytics to provide insights into inventory management, transportation costs, and supplier performance, driving strategic decisions that enhance overall efficiency and customer satisfaction. This role is critical in ensuring our logistical operations remain competitive and effective across diverse markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain performance metrics (KPIs) for supply chain operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and manage inventory levels.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to transportation and warehousing strategies.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses for proposed supply chain initiatives.
• Prepare reports and presentations on supply chain performance for management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including Excel and SQL.
• Experience with supply chain management software (e.g., ERP, WMS, TMS).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication skills, capable of presenting complex data clearly in a remote setting.
