About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Lead AI Solutions Architect to define and guide the implementation of our artificial intelligence strategy in Pretoria . This senior role involves designing end-to-end AI solutions, from conceptualization to deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility. You will lead a team of engineers and architects, provide technical leadership, and collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization to drive innovation and adoption of AI technologies. Key Responsibilities

• Design robust and scalable AI and machine learning architectures for various business applications.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of AI engineers and data scientists.
• Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities for AI-driven solutions and translate requirements into technical designs.
• Evaluate and select appropriate AI technologies, platforms, and tools for implementation.
• Oversee the development and deployment lifecycle of AI solutions, ensuring quality and performance.
• Develop architectural standards, best practices, and governance for AI initiatives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with a strong focus on artificial intelligence and machine learning.
• Proven experience designing and deploying complex, enterprise-scale AI solutions.
• Deep understanding of various AI/ML paradigms, including deep learning, NLP, and predictive analytics.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML services.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with data engineering, MLOps, and system integration.
