About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and charismatic Club Manager to lead their premier Golf & Country Club in the upscale area of Sandton . This senior leadership role demands a blend of operational expertise, financial acumen, and exceptional interpersonal skills to ensure the highest standards of service and member satisfaction. The Club Manager is responsible for overseeing all club operations, including golf, hospitality, events, staff management, and financial performance. You will be the primary point of contact for members, fostering a welcoming and exclusive atmosphere while driving the club's strategic vision and ensuring its continued success and reputation.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of all club departments, including golf, food & beverage, events, and member services.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance member experience, drive revenue, and control costs.
• Manage the club's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team of staff, ensuring high levels of professionalism and service delivery.
• Maintain strong relationships with club members, addressing their needs and concerns proactively.
• Ensure the club's facilities and amenities are maintained to the highest standards, complying with all safety and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• A degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in club management, preferably within a high-end golf or country club setting.
• Proven track record in financial management, operations oversight, and strategic planning.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Extensive knowledge of golf operations, food & beverage management, and event planning.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong member relationships.
