Lean Engineer

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a passionate and experienced Lean Engineer to join their organization in a fully remote capacity. This pivotal role is dedicated to driving continuous improvement initiatives across all operational facets by applying advanced lean manufacturing principles. You will be instrumental in fostering a culture of efficiency, waste reduction, and process excellence, working closely with diverse teams to implement transformative changes. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate Kaizen events and continuous improvement workshops to identify and eliminate waste in processes.
• Develop and implement lean strategies, including 5S, Value Stream Mapping , Kanban, and Just-In-Time (JIT) systems.
• Analyze production and operational data to identify root causes of inefficiencies and develop effective solutions.
• Develop standard work procedures and train employees on lean principles and methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate lean practices into daily operations and strategic planning.
• Monitor the sustained effectiveness of implemented lean initiatives and provide ongoing support and coaching.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience implementing lean methodologies in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Proven expertise in facilitating lean workshops and driving continuous improvement projects.
• Strong understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles and tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, especially in a remote context.
• Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
