Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on contracts related to energy projects, supply agreements, and procurement.
• Ensure compliance with energy sector regulations, environmental laws, and permits.
• Assist in the negotiation and drafting of project development agreements and joint ventures.
• Manage and resolve legal disputes arising from energy operations.
• Conduct legal research on industry-specific legislation and policy changes.

Requirements

• Admitted Attorney with a minimum of 5 years of legal experience, with a focus on energy, project finance, or commercial law.
• Understanding of South African energy sector regulations and policies is highly desirable.
• Experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
