About the Role

Our client, a leading recruitment consultancy, is seeking a dedicated Construction Recruitment Consultant to join their team in Stellenbosch, Western Cape . This role is crucial for connecting skilled trades, engineers, project managers, and other professionals with construction projects throughout the region. You will be responsible for the entire recruitment process, from identifying client needs to sourcing candidates and managing offers. Key Responsibilities

• Source and recruit candidates for a wide range of construction roles, including site staff, management, and technical positions.
• Develop effective sourcing strategies to attract qualified professionals within the construction industry.
• Conduct thorough screening and interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, and suitability for construction projects.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with construction companies and hiring managers.
• Manage the offer process and ensure a smooth onboarding for placed candidates.
• Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and talent demands in the construction sector.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in recruitment, with a focus on the construction industry .
• Proven ability to source and engage candidates for roles such as project managers, site engineers, quantity surveyors, and skilled trades.
• Understanding of the construction project lifecycle and typical staffing needs.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience utilizing recruitment databases and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• A strong network within the Western Cape construction sector is a plus.
