About the Role
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Chemical Engineer to support their production operations in Cape Town . Key Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring and controlling chemical production processes to meet quality and output targets.
- Investigate process deviations and provide technical support to resolve operational issues.
- Participate in process hazard analyses and safety reviews.
- Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for efficiency gains.
- Support the implementation of process improvements and engineering projects.
- Ensure adherence to all safety, health, and environmental regulations on the plant floor.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering .
- 0-3 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing or process engineering role.
- Basic understanding of chemical processes, equipment, and plant operations.
- Familiarity with process safety principles and environmental regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive attitude.
