Online Learning Platform Administrator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and tech-savvy Online Learning Platform Administrator to manage their digital education ecosystem. This fully remote position is based in Klerksdorp but operates entirely online, supporting educators and students utilizing the platform. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and optimization of the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring a seamless user experience. This is a critical role for an individual passionate about educational technology and committed to providing efficient administrative support that enhances online learning outcomes across the North West region and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), including user management, course setup, and content uploading.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to educators and students accessing the online platform.
• Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for users on how to effectively utilize the LMS features.
• Monitor platform performance, generate reports on usage statistics, and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure data integrity and security within the online learning environment.
• Collaborate with content developers and IT teams to integrate new features and resources into the platform.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
• Proven experience in administering an LMS (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas) or similar online platforms.
• Strong understanding of online learning principles and educational technology.
• Excellent technical troubleshooting skills and proficiency with web-based applications.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills, suitable for a remote role.
